Job Description

RedHammer is a fast-growing professional services firm specializing in outsourced accounting for the construction industry. We've doubled our client base in 2 years by leveraging best practices and advanced technologies to make a real difference for our clients.

We're seeking a Client Accounting Services Manager to lead a team of 12-15 accounting professionals responsible for delivering ongoing accounting services to a portfolio of 20+ construction clients. Reporting directly to the partners, you'll combine deep expertise in construction accounting with exceptional leadership skills, owning both your team's performance and your portfolio's P&L. This role requires someone who excels at building lasting client relationships while driving operational excellence and profitability.

As our Client Accounting Services Manager,  you'll oversee the complete client lifecycle after implementation, from monthly close processes through strategic advisory services. You'll be the strategic leader who ensures consistent, high-quality service delivery while managing revenue targets, team utilization, pricing decisions, and profit margins. You'll inherit newly implemented clients and nurture long-term relationships that drive retention and growth. This is an opportunity to build and lead a high-performing team while directly impacting RedHammer's profitability and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will excel at balancing client needs with business objectives while developing talent and maintaining exceptional service quality. If you have extensive construction accounting experience and thrive on building sustainable client relationships while managing both people and numbers, this role offers the chance to lead a significant business unit within a dynamic, technology-forward firm.

This is a full-time W2 position - we are not seeking self-employed consultants or bookkeepers. The role is remote.
