Mechanic's Lien

A mechanic's lien, sometimes known as a "construction lien," is a claim on a property made by a contractor, subcontractor, or supplier who contributed to the property's worth through labor or materials but has yet to be paid. Once a party gets payment, they can either dismiss the mechanic's lien or, if no lien has been filed, they can execute a lien waiver waiving any possible lien rights.
